1 · What SoulChord is (and isn't)
SoulChord computes a Pythagorean numerology reading from a name and date of birth and generates a personalized song from that reading using AI music technology. It exists for entertainment, reflection, and self-expression.
Your reading is not advice. Numerology readings, archetypes, and any related content are not medical, psychological, financial, legal, or professional guidance of any kind, and shouldn't be used to make decisions in those areas. If something in your life needs a professional, please see one — the app will still be here when you get back.
2 · Your license to use the app
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use SoulChord on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store terms. In exchange, you agree not to:
- copy, modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to extract the source code, numerology mappings, or prompt systems behind the service;
- abuse, overload, scrape, or access our servers and APIs by any means other than the app itself;
- use the service to generate content that is unlawful, infringing, hateful, or harassing (for example, by entering names you have no right to use in a harmful way);
- resell or commercially exploit the service or its output except as these terms allow.
You must be at least 13 years old to use SoulChord. If you generate a song for another living person, make sure you have an appropriate basis to use their name and birth date — gifting a song is wonderful; targeting someone is not.
3 · Songs, readings & ownership
What's ours
The SoulChord app, brand, design system, numerology-to-music mappings, lyrics templates, and all software are the property of IANAI L.L.C. and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. These terms don't transfer any of that to you.
What's yours
Your songs are made for exactly one person. You may play, download, keep, and share your generated songs and readings for personal, non-commercial purposes — including posting them to social platforms like TikTok and Instagram. Commercial use of generated songs (selling, licensing, monetized distribution) isn't permitted under these terms; if you have a commercial use in mind, email us and we'll talk.
AI-generated content
Songs are created by AI music technology from your numerology reading. AI output can occasionally be imperfect, repeat itself, or sound similar to other AI output. Songs are generated fresh and are not formally guaranteed to be unique, though no one else's chart will ask for quite what yours does.
4 · Purchases
If SoulChord offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, they are processed by Apple through your Apple account, and Apple's payment terms apply. Prices are shown before you buy. Subscriptions (if offered) renew automatically unless cancelled in your Apple account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Refund requests are handled by Apple through reportaproblem.apple.com.
5 · Availability, changes & termination
We work hard to keep SoulChord available, but we don't promise uninterrupted service — song generation depends on third-party AI providers, and features may change, be suspended, or be discontinued as the product evolves. We may update these terms as SoulChord grows; if we make material changes we'll update the effective date above and flag it in the app, and continued use after that means you accept the updated terms. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms; you can end the agreement at any time by deleting the app (and requesting data deletion under our Privacy Policy).
6 · Disclaimers & limitation of liability
SoulChord is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, IANAI L.L.C. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, arising from your use of the service. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or fifty US dollars ($50). Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify IANAI L.L.C. against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.
7 · The Apple part
These terms are between you and IANAI L.L.C., not Apple. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app and is not responsible for addressing any claims relating to it — including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual-property claims. In the event the app fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any); Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. You represent that you are not located in an embargoed country and are not on any US government restricted-party list.
8 · Governing law & contact
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect.
